In-Person Support

Do you need personal assistance?

The Transgender Equality Network doesn't want you to feel like you are alone during your self-discovery. If you ever are in need of help, please contact us! The best way to communicate with us is through our Facebook page.

In Person Support Services

Name and Gender Change Clinic

At events, we generally have a booth with all the paperwork you need to be able to change your legal name and gender, as well as someone experienced there to help. If you need help outside of events, send up a message on Facebook!

Court Attendance

Many trans people have to go through difficult processes on their own. We will send a friend with you to the court house for moral support. This is available for all members of the Northwest Arkansas community.

Guidance

Trans people need guidance when it comes to transition. There is a lot of misinformation on the internet, so the best place to get information on transition is from a real trans person.

Peer-Support Groups

We work with NWA Equality to provide trans leaders to facilitate peer support groups for trans masculine folks and trans feminine folks. We are hoping to expand and grow these services, so stay tuned.

One on One Help

Sometimes folks need some one-on-one assistance with their needs. We will help wherever we can, even on an individual basis.

Other Needs

We don't have any specific rules on the in-person support that we provide. If there is something unique that you need help with. Send us a message on Facebook!

"Blood does not family make. Those are relatives. Family are those with whom you share your good, bad, and ugly, and still love one another in the end. Those are the ones you select."
