There are countless cross-culture examples of societies that recognized more than one gender throughout the history of humanity.
  7. Trans Stereotypes are Accurate.
Some trans and non-binary people align with gender norms, some do not. The diversity in presentation within the trans community aligns with the general population.
  8. Trans People Enjoy Discussing Transition.
Transgender people, like most people, do not enjoy discussing their personal health with strangers or colleagues. Trans advocates and activists are likely to be more open, but for the majority, this is not the case.
  9. Misgendering isn’t a big deal
Misgendering a trans person can not only be devastating for them, but it can also be a catalyst for them committing suicide. 50% of trans people have attempted suicide
